The Black Renaissance Yearly Culture Fashion Show, highlights emerging black designers, brands, and models/influencers while showcasing African culture to the European Diaspora. This fusion event combines an Afro-cultural runway with a vibrant pop-up, connecting audiences directly to budding black-owned brands. The Renaissance blends the sophistication of a runway with the accessibility of a pop-up retail space, empowering designers by enabling immediate, exclusive purchases. This immersive experience celebrates diversity, fostering intimate connections between creators and consumers, offering unique, direct purchases and amplifying engagement between emerging brands and a wider audience.

The 2024 edition of the Renaissance Fashion Show, held on July 7th at Koppenstraße 8, 10243 Berlin, was a spectacular rooftop cultural runway experience. This event showcased the creativity of 19 Black Owned Brands and 60 Black Models, each bringing their unique personas to the runway. The show was supported by a diverse team of 40 BiPoC and ally collaborators, including photographers, videographers, wardrobe and style assistants, and brand managers. The Renaissance Production Team, responsible for both the main event and backstage management, comprised 55 dedicated members, including a runway coordinator, backstage manager, care team, culinary specialists, security team, gastronomy support, sound engineers, DJs, and musical artists. This blend of seasoned professionals and emerging talents aimed to empower vibrant community members.

From 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, approximately 450 guests enjoyed an immersive celebration of African culture through vibrant colors, textures, styles, and expressions of Black joy. We eagerly anticipate next year's Renaissance Fashion Show, promising an even more spectacular event with fresh surprises for our community and fans. Stay tuned for what's coming next!
